Another summer, another sunrise photo shoot. For the third time in a little over a year, Ashely and I once again hauled our asses out to the beach at 5am in the hopes of catching some awesome light. This time we decided to head to Rouge Beach, in Toronto’s east end — our first time shooting there. Mother Nature had other plans for us, though, and on this day only a pastel strip of colour appeared on the horizon, topped off by sad, grey clouds. It’s not what we were looking for, but we certainly didn’t sacrifice sleep just to turn around and go home. We breezed through a bunch of poses and outfits and created some great images with the soft light. Of course, as soon as we left Rouge Beach, the clouds parted and the sun came out. Oh well.
