Valerie’s back and looking better than ever. We headed to the nude beach on Hanlan’s Point for our fourth photo shoot in four years. It was probably our best one yet.

This shoot also gave me another chance to experiment with my new favourite light, the Godox AD300 Pro. I used it for the first set of photos you see here of Valerie in her tan bikini, to fill in the harsh shadows that were being cast from the sun behind her. The AD300 easily overpowered the sun during golden hour, acting as my main light, with the sun as the rim light. It’s such a compact and portable setup when paired with a small light stand such as the lightweight Manfrotto Nano.

Everything else here was shot with natural golden hour sunlight.
