Here are the second set of images I created with future supermodel Teaghan Gosley on my October 2014 trip to Halifax.
These images were created at the Alt Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia with nothing more than window light. I usually shy away from cool-toned portraits but the bluish tones here help with the relaxed feel of the images. Pressed for time (I had a wedding to get to!), we squeezed these shots into a 30-minute window. What we came up with was pretty darn good, considering.
My favourite element of these photos is the subdued lighting, provided by the grey Halifax skies, leeching in through the windows. In the images where the window blinds are visible, the rim of lighting that falls on Teaghan from both sides is soft, subtle, and ideally placed.
Teaghan wears a Tuxedo Blazer from Smythe Les Vestes and Mesh Panel Lace Demi Bra from Forever 21. Hair and makeup by Teaghan.
