I really love a good sheer bodysuit or mesh bodysuit — all bodysuits, really. But more on that in a second.

In October, Cortana and I were invited to my good friend Christine’s wedding in Halifax. Since it was already quite frigid in Halifax, we used the weekend getaway opportunity to squeeze in some photos of Cortana at our hotel. She did fantastically well, and improves drastically every time we shoot together. I’m so happy with these pictures.

As I mentioned above, a nice, simple, sheer bodysuit is one of my favourite pieces to shoot people in (I stocked up on a ton from Forever 21), and Cortana had just bought some new green lingerie she wanted to wear (her favourite colour).

These images were created at the Alt Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I’ve been to one previous Alt property, in Montreal, and they’re very consistent. Also very nice! The only downside to the Alt in Halifax was the ridiculous parking situation (no in/out privileges), so I likely won’t stay there again since it cost me a small fortune to park.

The first five photos below were shot with the overhead lamp in the room. The last five were photographed with an Alien Bees Einstein monolight with no modifier.
