Why is Lindsay naked in the shower? Because SOAP SUDS AND RED LIPS AND NO CLOTHES, THAT’S WHY!

Due to the tight quarters in most bathrooms, a slightly wide-angle lens is often needed. For these photos at The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites in Halifax, I used my Nikon 24-120mm ƒ/4 lens to make sure I’d have a good range of relatively wide focal lengths to use. I paired the lens with an AlienBees ABR800 Ringflash — an easy way to throw a lot of even light at a subject. Because most bathrooms are done in white or light tones, I prefer to keep the images bright and high-key instead of dark and moody. The white tiles and walls act as natural reflectors to keep all the lighting even and soft.
